Yonson Ahn has been Professor of Korean Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main since December 2014. She received her Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the University of Warwick, England, in 2000. Her research focuses on transnational migration in the care sector, marriage migration and sexualised violence in the context of war.
