The Goethe University Frankfurt is organizing the “University-wide weeks against racism and anti-Semitism” in November.
The series of events will open with a discussion with Saba-Nur Cheema & Meron Mendel, who will talk about the polarization in the German Middle East debate and ask: How can the discourse be improved?
The Cornelia Goethe Center is represented in the event series with two talks of the CGColloquia: On 13 November 2024, Dr. Elena Boukouvala will talk about her action research between science, art and activism and ask: "What is Care? Arts into Acts and Ethics of Care in Lesvos, Greece".
On 27 November 2024, Radwa Khaled-Ibrahim, a consultant for critical (emergency) aid at medico international, will discuss in her lecture "Aid to Repair?" what a world could look like in which everyone can enjoy a dignified life and what kind of help is needed for this.
All events in the series can be found on the constantly updated website of the Equal Opportunities Office
