Rethinking Social Reproduction – Latin American and Decolonial Material Feminist Perspectives

The symposium consists of three sections: 

In the keynote lecture, Cristina Vega Solís will talk about "Trabajos y medios de la reproducción ampliada. Una aproximación desde la historia de una recicladora de calle en Quito (Ecuador) // Work and means of expanded reproduction. An approach based on the story of a street recycler in Quito (Ecuador)". 

The three respondents, Céline Barry, Johanna Leinius and Susanne Schultz,will comment on the keynote. 

After that, Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez will lead the final discussion. 

The sessions will be chaired by Pilar Mendoza and María Cárdenas. 

The event will conclude with a book launch featuring books by Cristina Vega Solis, Susanne Schultz and Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez.
