Handling of Personal Data
Personal data refers to information that can be used to identify a natural person, i.e., information by which individuals are identifiable. This includes, in particular, names, email addresses, matriculation numbers or phone numbers.
Personal data is collected, used, and disclosed by us only if this is permitted by law or if users have given their consent.
The following data are collected:
- Title (optional)
- Name and surname
- Date of birth
- Pronouns (optional)
- Email adress
- Institutional affiliation
- Status group
- Agreement with the mission statement of the network
The data are stored as long as they are necessary for the activities of the Research Network "Geschlechterforschung Hessen" or until consent to data usage is withdrawn.
Consent
By checking the box “Consent to the data protection declaration” during the registration process, you confirm that you have read this statement and agree to the described usage of your data. You may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to CGCentrum@soz.uni-frankfurt.de. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of your consent before its withdrawal remains unaffected.
If you do not agree to the data use, you cannot become a member of the Research Network "Geschlechterforschung Hessen".
