Protest against the abolition of the HMWK's research focus on “Dimensionen der Kategorie Geschlecht”
The “Gender Studies Network in Hesse” founded in 2024, sees itself as an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary network that brings together and promotes the perspectives and voices of gender studies in Hesse.
On November 17, 2025, it published a statement protesting against the abolition of the research focus "Dimensionen der Kategorie Geschlecht – Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung in Hessen" by the Hesse Ministry of Science and Research, Art, and Culture (HMWK).
