The Cornelia Goethe Center is seeking a student assistant (80 hours/month) starting on September 1, 2025.
The tasks will focus primarily on supporting the GRADE Center Gender, which is coordinated by the Center, as well as the Cornelia Goethe Colloquia, the public lecture series of the Cornelia Goethe Center. This includes:

Participation in the conception, preparation, organization and follow-up of events at the GRADE Center Gender and the Cornelia Goethe Colloquia;

Promotion of events of the GRADE Center Gender and the Cornelia Goethe Colloquia through internal and external channels and on the website of the Center;

Maintenance of the GRADE Center Gender and Cornelia Goethe Colloquia sections on the website of the Cornelia Goethe Center;

Communication with members of the GRADE Center Gender and maintenance of the member database;

Communication with speakers of the Cornelia Goethe Colloquia and support with financial and organizational follow-up;

Participation in the reporting obligations of the GRADE Center Gender and the Cornelia Goethe Center.
In addition to these tasks, participation in other areas of the CGC, particularly concerning the organization of events, is also required.
The assistantship also serves your own further education and training.
The prerequisites for the appointment are good computer skills (especially MS-Office package, ideally Adobe Creative Cloud), secure knowledge of the English language in writing and speaking, as well as a special interest in Gender Studies.
Further prerequisites are team skills, reliability, independence, resilience and flexibility.
