The Cornelia Goethe Center for Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented research and study center at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
It was named after Cornelia Goethe, the sister of Johann Wolfgang Goethe. As a support group, we have been supporting the work of the Center for more than 25 years, and since 2002 we have been awarding the Cornelia Goethe Award for outstanding work in women's and gender studies.
On the occasion of Cornelia Goethe's 275th birthday, we cordially invite you to the Cornelia Goethe Salon again this year.
The Cornelia Goethe Award 2025 will be presented to Dr. Sophie Bauer for her dissertation „’Das Natürlichste was eine Frau haben kann’ - Eine Soziologie der Menstruation“.
We would be delighted if you could attend the award ceremony.
